"Winter Birch" Freeform Vase (Slight second)
Tax included.
This is a "Winter Birch" oval freeform vase.
It was made in October 2026 and is signed and dated.
When I was building the house and studio I had to fight to save a birch tree
that was (and still is) rather too close to the studio.
I had planted it over 20 years previously and, having watched it grow, I couldn't bear to see it felled as I was advised to by everyone connected with the build.
It is a slight second as it has a small black line on it and a couple of bubbles on the surface.
This piece stands 19cms high by 14cms wide x 8.5cm deep
and weighs under one kilo.....
...the birch tree mentioned above stands somewhat higher
and weighs considerably more!
