"Winter Birch" Vase With Heavy Clear Glass Base
Tax included.
This is a "Winter Birch" vase with a heavy, clear glass base.
It was made in October 2022 and is signed and dated.
When I was building the house and studio I had to fight to save a birch tree
that was (and still is) rather too close to the studio.
I had planted it over 20 years previously and, having watched it grow, I couldn't bear to see it felled as I was advised to by everyone connected with the build.
This piece stands 13cms high by 9.5cms wide
and weighs just under one kilo.....
...the birch tree mentioned above stands somewhat higher
and weighs considerably more!
