This is a small green, white and red "Sweet Chestnut" bowl. It has an additional red “chestnut” that can either sit inside or beside the bowl.
When I was walking in the woods with the dog in October the woodland floor was strewn with fallen chestnuts - ripe for the picking!

It stands 70 mm high x 120mm wide
i have not ground the bottom flat so it rocks gently!
