2026 is the 50th anniversary of London Glassblowing.
I started there 47 years ago as Peter Layton’s first apprentice at his Rotherhithe workshop.
For Peter’s 50th anniversary exhibition at London Glassblowing I designed some new Journey pieces to reflect the colourful journey I have been on for the last 47 years.
I like to keep the Journey pieces very thick so you can see all the different layers - this one is quite chunky - weighing in at about 2.3 kilos.
It was made in May 2026
and is signed and dated
It stands 245 mm high x 110 mm across
